Abstract

|
Gixsexg extracts were fractisxated into several fractions with various organic solvents, and the effects of these fractions on the activity of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetwe was examined. Fractions which showed positive effect on the activity of the anixoaeyl-tRNA syxthdase were obtaised both from white ginseng and red ginseng. The total methanol extract of white ginseng and the dher extract from the total methanol extract of red gixsexg gave positive results. Therefore, it may be presumed that the positive componests have rather nonpolar nature.
